Hello and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Alma Blackburn and I am the President of Elevate Marketing LLC based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

 

After working for 25+ years as an advertising executive for The Ann Arbor News and MLive Media Group (Advance Digital), I started two small businesses, Elevate Marketing LLC and a fun, light hearted hyper-local publication called Ann Arbor Coffee News in 2018 that supported and  help grow small to medium sized businesses. Sadly, Coffee News closed during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic as restaurants and coffee shops in Michigan closed temporarily.

On the contrary, my digital company, Elevate Marketing, grew tremendously that year.

While both of my undergrad degree and Masters degree from

Eastern Michigan University in Integrated Marketing Communications have proven to be essential for my marketing communications strategy and consulting practice, my experience as a traditional and digital account executive provided me with valuable insights into what makes businesses successful today, it's having a strong digital footprint, providing great service or products, strong authentic customer support, engagement,, positive word of mouth and consistent advertising.
